My stay at Retiro Lodge was absolutely magical! From the moment we arrived, Robbert and Victor made us feel right at home. The property is a beautiful retreat surrounded by nature, and the cozy accommodations offered great comfort. Breakfast in the charming conservatory was delightful and varied. One slight downside was the weak water pressure in the shower, but it didn't really take away from the overall experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway with lovely hosts.

My stay at the lodge was truly unforgettable. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, surrounded by beautiful gardens and animals, making for a peaceful retreat. The breakfasts were outstanding, served in an amazing greenhouse setting. The only downside was the somewhat isolated location, being a 20-minute drive from Nelson. Overall, it’s a fantastic experience, especially for those looking to unwind in nature.
